Job Position:
DG – Technician

Roles & Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Perform daily checks, ‘A-checks,’ and filter/oil changes for high-capacity DG sets upto 1500KVA capacity.

• Fault Diagnosis: Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults in DG control panels, fuel systems, and cooling circuits.

• Battery & Electrical Care: Maintain battery health, charging systems, and alternator connections to ensure instant startup.

• Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 breakdown support to restore backup power during outages.

• Logbook Management: Accurately record fuel consumption, running hours, and maintenance history.

• Tool & Workspace Safety: Maintain all specialized tools and ensure a clean, hazard-free work area around the DG sets.

Eligibility Criteria

Employee Profile

Qualification:
Science based 12th, followed by ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic or Electrical Trade

Experience:
3+ Years in DG Maintenance

Location:
Chirodzi, Tete
Mozambique

Skill Set:
Knowledge of fuel injection pumps, turbochargers, and basic control wiring
