Vaga – Quality Assurance Officer (Relocation and Livelihood) (M/F)

Heading is recruiting for its client, a Quality Assurance Officer   (M/F) to be based in Cabo Delgado

 

Main Responsibilities:

– Oversee the implementation of Relocation, Compensation, and livelihood programs.

– Report the implementation of the livelihoods programs against implementation plans, targets, timelines, and result indicators.

– Perform systematic Quality control/ assurance of Relocation, Compensation, and livelihood programs.

– Support the implementation of livelihood programs by providing critically assessed data to implementation teams.

– Assesses project performance to identify success factors and incorporates best practices into project work.

– Monitors specific stages of projects/program implementation and establishes the research/evidence-based linkages/integration across programs.

– Provide backstopping on field activities implemented by local project partners

– Ensure alignment of programmatic policy, processes, and procedures

– Record, monitor, and report the process of institutional memory

 

Requirements:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Economy or Socio-Economic Development, Business Administration, or another related field.

– At least 4 years of experience in implementing and monitoring RAP (Relocation and Livelihoods programs)

– Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with communities and stakeholders.

– Familiarity with global industry best practices for environmental and social performance, requirements, and guidelines.

– Effective communication in Portuguese and English.

– Mozambique Northern Languages proficiency will be an advantage.

 

Key HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Requirements

– Acquire basic HSE awareness by knowing the One-MAESTRO framework, the HSE & biodiversity policies, and the 12 Golden Rules

– Comply with mandatory HSE trainings (HSE Induction and the e-learnings One MAESTRO for All, Safety Culture & Golden Rules)

– Prepare and present safety moments whenever required (at the beginning of meetings)

– Use of the Stop Card whenever required to prevent any accident or incident

– Contribute Specific action during JMS Word Safety Day.

– Propose an HSE improvement action for the entity

– Identify and report all anomalies in the workplace and making proposal for correction
