We are looking for a Quality Manager to run our Laboratory.Main responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine tests on raw materials, production samples and finished products.
- Supporting the Laboratory Technician in collecting and organising data for reports.
- Preparing and testing materials from other units, competitors or clients.
- Taking part in product development tests.
- Investigating non-conformities and collaborating in the implementation of
- corrective/preventive measures.
- Prepare test reports and samples for the client.
- Lead the Laboratory with a high level of commitment to the job
- Participate in internal and customer meetings
- Managing the team of laboratory technicians to achieve the expected results
Essential requirements
- Compulsory schooling – Higher degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience (10-15 years) in an industrial or manufacturing laboratory environment particularly in the road and bridge construction sector.
- A sense of organisation, analytical thinking and proactivity.
- Team spirit and willingness to grow in the Quality area.
- Knowledge of QHSE standards (valued) with respective certifications.
- ISO certifications in the laboratory sector and/or road and bridge construction sector
- Fluent in English
- Mozambican nationality
- Age not less than 40
