Project Execution Lead (PMO) – Energy & Infrastructure, Mozambique
YASUKE is recruiting, for a group of energy and infrastructure projects in Mozambique, a PMO who closes – not one who monitors.

This is not a monitoring role. It is a closing role: power supply negotiations with public and private counterparties, site due diligence, coordination of legal, financial and technical teams, and delivery against demanding timelines.

What you will do

Own the end-to-end execution map: milestones, dependencies, risks and decisions – one map, always current.

Prepare and support power supply negotiations (term sheets, PPAs) with utilities, regulators and institutional partners.

Organise technical visits and site due diligence, consolidate the data (energy, works, logistics, costs) and turn it into recommendations.

Work with lawyers and finance on project vehicles and funding packages.
Report weekly to the board with facts, numbers and proposals — not descriptions.

Who we are looking for
7+ years in energy, infrastructure or industrial project execution, with at least one power supply contract or financed project taken to signature.

Comfortable with financial models, tariffs, contracts and the logic of project finance.

Real ownership: you own the result, not just the process; you go to the field; you solve what is not in the manual.
Resilience: you work well under pressure, take direct feedback and answer with solutions.

Clear, direct communication in Portuguese and English with executive and institutional counterparts.

A network and track record in Mozambique’s power sector and public administration are a strong advantage.

Conditions
Based in Maputo, with frequent travel to project sites.
Start: January 2027.
