Marketing Assistant

Location: Maputo, Mozambique

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hiper Distribuidora Lda is looking for a motivated, organized, and results-oriented Marketing Assistant to join its Marketing Department. The successful candidate will support the planning and execution of trade marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, merchandising activities, market research, and dayto-day marketing operations across a portfolio of leading international brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.

• Coordinate promotional activities and in-store activations.

• Assist with merchandising implementation across trade channels.

• Monitor campaign execution and prepare performance reports.

• Coordinate production and distribution of POS materials.

• Support market research and competitor analysis.

• Liaise with suppliers, agencies, and internal departments.

• Assist in budget monitoring and administrative marketing tasks. Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing.

• Experience within the FMCG industry will be an added advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Knowledge of Power BI and ERP systems (e.g., Primavera) will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
