ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

•As Compliance Engineer-Condition Monitoring you will be responsible to ensure all Condition monitoring maintenance activities within an Operation area / defined set of physical assets are executed safely by competent maintenance personnel in accordance with work routines, required standards and work instructions. Ensure statutory / legislative compliance for all plant and equipment requirements.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Develop and execute maintenance sub-function strategies in order to align with the Mozal Asset Management Plan;

• Ensure that the Condition Monitoring program is followed, and that all recommendations are adhered to;

• Analyze vibration and ultrasonic data and create notifications on SAP if any deviations are found;

• Suggest recommendations as per vibration and ultrasonic data reports;

• Create notifications on critical and urgent oil sample reports from Supplier;

• Perform alignment and balancing verification on rotating equipment;

• Perform thermography on electrical panels;

• Formulate detailed monthly report and present to Maintenance Management team;

• Develop and continuously update database for Ultrasonic and Vibration readings.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Relevant Engineering degree for the discipline with eight to 10 years in Industrial Maintenance Of which at least 2 years in a supervisory level;

• Understanding of Asset Management Principles aligned to ISO55000 Series Standard;

• Experience in the application of technical expertise in Condition Monitoring in large scale mining operations;

• Applies a systematic, knowledge-based problem-solving approach and structured methodologies (such as root cause analysis and statistical analysis) to investigate risks and opportunities to create effective, value-add technical solutions.

Qualifications for this role are:

• BEng or equivalent, degree in a related discipline, with a focus on Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Data Analysis, are preferable.
