We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Finance team leader to join our organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the finance team, ensuring the financial integrity of the organization, supporting GNMOZ’s mission through effective financial management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Management:
– Oversee all financial operations of the organization.
– Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
– Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
– Prepare and monitor the annual budget.
– Conduct financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
– Prepare periodic financial reports for management and donors.
- Accounting and Reporting:
– Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
– Coordinate the preparation of audited financial statements.
– Maintain efficient and effective accounting systems.
- Compliance and Audit:
– Ensure the organization meets all fiscal and regulatory obligations.
– Facilitate internal and external audits.
– Implement audit recommendations to enhance financial controls.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the NGO or humanitarian sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial practices.
Proficiency in Online Quickbook.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Languages
Proficiency in Portuguese and English
