RESPONSIBILITIES: <\/b><\/p>\n
\u25aa Compliance to relevant legislation \u00b7 The accident\/incident frequency is less than the set standard;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Compliance to the company\u2019s Health, Safety and Environment Management manual;<\/p>\n
\u25aa The operation can attain highest accreditation ratings;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Compliance to environmental licensing & permitting requirements – Incident forms are followed up on, and completed and investigated;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Leading by example and proactively setting an example through reinforcing safe work practices and visibility in the workplace;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Establishing agreed upon KPI\u2019s;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Managing performance continuously;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Counselling employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Counselling team members regarding behavioral issues;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Disciplining team members for behavioral non-compliances with verbal & written warnings & initiates formal disciplinary process;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Ensuring problems are resolved within appropriate levels of accountability and responsibility for individuals and teams;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Encouraging members to be actively involved in finding and implementing solutions;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Ensuring all staff are competent to deliver the outputs of their jobs within a specified time after being appointed to the position and in line with the performance management system;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Ensuring continuous and deliberate transfer of competencies to other team members;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Compiling the departmental budget;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Managing expenditure within budget parameters;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Analyzing budget monthly and reporting on variances;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Taking a pro-active approach through forecasting future expenditure on a monthly basis;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Creating and implementing security standards, policies, and procedures;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Plan, direct, and coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Analyzing and evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement;\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
\u25aa Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Liaising with the community to educate them about security related issues and consequences of breaching company security;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches and recommend corrective action.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS: <\/b><\/p>\n
\u25aa Degree in Risk Management or other relevant areas;<\/p>\n
\u25aa Military\/ Police\/ Law Enforcement Certification (Merits);<\/p>\n
\u25aa At least 5 years\u2019 experience in Military (Police\/Law enforcement);<\/p>\n
\u25aa Experience in operational management;<\/p>\n
