These attitudes and believes shall guide our actions and relationships.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mwyk2c mwyk8k mwyln8\">\n<li>Role and responsibilities The Driver is responsible for transporting NRC staff, visitors, documents and goods\/materials to designated destinations when officially approved within an area, country or other location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Generic responsibilities (max 10)<\/p>\n<p>These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional Development Plan.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mwyk2c mwyk8k mwyln8\">\n<li>Transport NRC staff, visitors, documents and goods\/materials to designated destinations when officially approved<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safety and security of the passengers, the goods and the vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Immediately report accidents, breakdowns and needs of repair and general maintenance\/service<\/li>\n<li>Respect the local traffic regulations and the NRC logistical\/vehicle policies at all times<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the logbook for all trips<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the vehicle in proper operating condition at all times, including keeping the vehicle clean, ensuring enough fuel, checking the technical state etc.<\/li>\n<li>In liaison with the line manager, arrange for repairs and servicing<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the assigned vehicle has all the necessary documents and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Provide logistical support during trainings and workshops<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mwyk2c mwyk8k mwyln8\">\n<li>Responsible to keep logbook updated<\/li>\n<li>Work in close coordination with the Fleet focal person of Logistics department to ensure movement plan is followed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Be flexible to work during day, nigh, weekend and public holidays shifts<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mwyk2c mwyk8k mwyln8\">\n<li>Competencies Competencies are important in order for the employee and the organisation to deliver desired results.
