The role will provide advice, coaching and support to employees and contractors, helping to identify and mitigate workplace hazards and promote a strong HSE culture.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct and support field observations, safety interactions, workplace inspections and internal HSE audits.<\/li>\n<li>Support incident investigations and management of hazards, risks and corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain HSE systems, databases, registers and related documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Support HSE reporting, training, inductions and workforce consultation.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance with HSE legislation, company standards, procedures and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of HSE Management Plans and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage incident, hazard, risk and non-conformance registers.<\/li>\n<li>Support environmental monitoring, waste management and hazardous spill response.<\/li>\n<li>Promote effective use and understanding of HSE systems, tools and improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with employees, contractors and operational teams to strengthen HSE performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Key Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in Health, Safety &amp; Environment, preferably within <strong>mining, construction or heavy industry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience interpreting and implementing HSE legislation and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of HSE management systems, risk management and data management.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant HSE qualifications and\/or certifications, including areas such as ISO 45001\/14001, incident investigation, training or auditing.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with others.<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational and prioritisation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively in <strong>English and Portuguese<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by 1st October 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apply here: <a href=\"https:\/\/syrah-resources-ltd.breezy.hr\/p\/6edfddb3e278-hsse-officer\">https:\/\/syrah-resources-ltd.breezy.hr\/p\/6edfddb3e278-hsse-officer<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Role We are seeking a Health, Safety &amp; Environmental Officer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Twigg\u2019s Health, Safety &amp; Environmental (HSE) systems and standards.
