{"id":32274,"date":"2026-08-24T17:14:05","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T17:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=32274"},"modified":"2026-08-24T17:14:05","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T17:14:05","slug":"vaga-director-logistics-and-distribution-contract-logistics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-director-logistics-and-distribution-contract-logistics\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaga &#8211; Director: Logistics and Distribution | Contract Logistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Function<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To align, implement and optimise a Distribution, Warehouse and Transport tactical strategy, operating model and supporting practices, in the context of divisional and functional strategies, policies and practices, to ensure the effective and profitable control, storage and distribution of stock across multiple depots in a geographical region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate and develop functional \/ operational framework that positively contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.<\/li>\n<li>Align strategies and objectives for a function \/ operation according to knowledge gained from reports and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate governance and compliance models and frameworks for a function \/ operation in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate functional \/ operational budget to ensure that the strategic deliverables are adequately budgeted for.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain a network of sustainable stakeholder relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate integrated service delivery frameworks to ensure exceptional stakeholder service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-graduate diploma or professional registration<\/li>\n<li>NQF Level 08<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience and Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 10 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 8 years business leadership \/ specialist experience<\/li>\n<li>Advanced business and operations management<\/li>\n<li>Advanced people management and development<\/li>\n<li>Advanced transport operations management<\/li>\n<li>Proficient labour relations procedures<\/li>\n<li>Advanced budgeting and cost management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About DP World<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
