{"id":32208,"date":"2026-08-20T08:04:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T08:04:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=32208"},"modified":"2026-08-20T08:04:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T08:04:08","slug":"vaga-technical-manager-terminals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-technical-manager-terminals\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaga &#8211; Technical Manager Terminals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Contexte et environnement<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wide geographic coverage with differing asset maturity levels across north (Nacala), center (Beira), and south (Matola)<\/li>\n<li>Need for high operational reliability with aging infrastructure and complex logistics<\/li>\n<li>Oversee terminal and network asset maintenance using digital tracking (CMMS)<\/li>\n<li>External contractor ecosystem requires strict supervision, qualification, and performance control<\/li>\n<li>Must deal with people of different backgrounds (cultural, educational, religious, professional)<\/li>\n<li>To effectively manage and minimize HSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensure that HSSE competency requirements are identified &amp; enforced within area of responsibility<\/p>\n<p><strong> Activit\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Promote a continuous improvement of culture across the engineering and maintenance function<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regulatory and HSEQ Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Promote and enforce TotalEnergies Safety Golden Rules and Group HSEQ standards in all activities.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and participate in safety tours, lifesaving checks, site audits, and cross-functional safety reviews<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical documentation for regulatory inspections and licensing<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and Strategic Oversight<\/li>\n<li>Lead the integrated engineering and maintenance function across terminals, ensuring alignment with Company Technical and HSEQ requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support Operations Director in strategic CAPEX\/OPEX planning, long-term asset renewal, and engineering budget forecasting.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance Strategy and Execution<\/li>\n<li>Ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for Terminals.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee CAPEX-level maintenance at terminals while coordinating with Logistics teams for OPEX interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement Maintenance policy using asset criticality and hierarchy classifications, in alignment with the Companies terminal maintenance policy.<\/li>\n<li>Review and validate maintenance scopes, work orders, and shutdown plans.<\/li>\n<li>Asset Integrity and Tank Inspection Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Lead technical integrity programs including implementation of inspection plans, condition monitoring, and critical safety testing.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with tank inspections requirements according to TotalEnergies policy<\/li>\n<li>CMMS and Performance Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Define and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for all facilities<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the CMMS system configuration and ensure data completeness, asset coverage, and usage discipline across all sites.<\/li>\n<li>Lead performance monitoring using CMMS, and ensure high-quality, auditable maintenance records<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and ensure timely and accurate monthly Maintenance KPI tracking of Safety integrity performance indicators, including, Maintenance backlog and equipment downtime, budget control and cost performance<\/li>\n<li>Review KPI trends with direct reports to identify corrective actions, anticipate risks, and support decision-making for resource allocation, technical priorities, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Interface with Logistics team for coordination of terminal-level maintenance tasks<\/li>\n<li>6. Capital Project Execution\n<ul>\n<li>Manage full project lifecycle as per company rules and Directions:<\/li>\n<li>Validate and sign off on engineering documentation (BoQs, specs, P&amp;IDs, cause &amp; effect matrices, layouts)<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to risk assessments and technical audit processes<\/li>\n<li>Guarantee technical integrity and operability of delivered assets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Management of Change (MoC)\n<ul>\n<li>Enforce strict application of company rules for management of change and company MOC procedure:<\/li>\n<li>Lead MoC reviews during projects, asset modifications, and process updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Contractor &amp; Project Supervision\n<ul>\n<li>Manage procurement and supervision of engineering contractors<\/li>\n<li>Conduct bid evaluations, negotiate technical contracts, and monitor execution<\/li>\n<li>Lead field supervision for CAPEX works (tanks, pipelines, utilities) ensuring HSE, cost, and schedule<\/li>\n<li>Define and review technical scopes for service contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise contractor performance, enforce HSEQ compliance, and apply penalties or incentives as per contrats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Team Management and Skill Development\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and coach the team, set objectives and evaluate performance.<\/li>\n<li>Organize regular training on technical standards, safety expectations, and use of digital tools (CMMS).<\/li>\n<li>Support terminal-based maintenance teams with expertise, training, and escalation management.<\/li>\n<li>Drive team performance, knowledge transfer, and technical upskilling within engineering and maintenance functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Profil du candidat<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).<\/li>\n<li>5\u201310 years of progressive experience in industrial project execution and asset maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing external contractors<\/li>\n<li>Advanced user of CMMS platforms and project planning software<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD\/engineering drawing tools, and digital documentation platforms<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and team
