The role is fundamental to connecting business and project strategy and delivery to drive performance and value at one of Rio Tinto&#8217;s greenfield mineral sands assets.<\/p>\n<p>This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and influential project management professional with the passion and desire to play a key leadership role supporting the performance of a large mining and processing business.<\/p>\n<p>We are an open connected global team that includes some of the industry&#8217;s best and brightest minds. With a global reach, the opportunities to develop and grow your career are broad and exciting.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Country Manager and working in a collaborative community, excellence in this role means you will<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strongly exhibit Rio Tinto&#8217;s values and strive for continuous improvement and excellence<\/li>\n<li>Engage and develop a talented and high performing Project team<\/li>\n<li>Develops project estimates and plans to manage the end-to-end project execution and implements projects in accordance with the approved scope<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements an effective stakeholder engagement plan through the life of the project<\/li>\n<li>Monitors, manages and reports all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Deeply understand business performance and value, and use that understanding to shape priorities, plans and actions<\/li>\n<li>Embody the role of Project Integration Manager, including influencing to drive the changes needed to fully embed the Project into the RTIT Plan and routine management Collaborate with excellence to draw effectively on the global Rio Tinto organization<\/li>\n<li>Establish new benchmarks for the Project team&#8217;s contribution to business success<\/li>\n<li>Partner closely with the RTIT Resource Development and as an influential member of the Project Senior Leadership Team to provide decision analysis. advice, and holistic support<\/li>\n<li>Sources vendors\/ consultants as required and monitor performance against contract requirements<\/li>\n<li>Lead rigorous weekly, monthly and quarterly planning and forecasting processes and support improved business performance through ensuring highly effective forward plans<\/li>\n<li>Provide the Project and RTIT senior leadership with relevant, detailed, accurate and timely financial\/project analysis. and provide advice to influence and shape strategy, planning and decision making<\/li>\n<li>Ensure governance and compliance through effective application of project controls and risk management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering or Finance, or an equivalent analytically focused field<\/li>\n<li>Relevant postgraduate qualification preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in Project Management and financial planning\/analysis<\/li>\n<li>15+ years of experience, including in leadership roles within the multi-national mining environment<\/li>\n<li>Project\/Portfolio Management (incl. implementation)<\/li>\n<li>Business Performance &amp;
