Heading is looking for his client in oil and gas industry, a\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>DW Installation Engineer – Flexible and Reel Lay\u00a0for Cabo Delgado – Afungi<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Activities:<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/b>–\u00a0Ensure safe, on time and within budget delivery of the flexible and reel-lay related elements of the EPCI scope of work whilst ensuring a high level of quality consistent with a project design life of 30 years.<\/p>\n

– Monitor and manage all facets of work within the flexible and reel-lay scope of work to ensure that schedule, technical, quality and HSES requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon.<\/p>\n

– Oversee a readiness process to ensure progressive documented preparation is made by both Contractor and Company teams towards the start of site activities.<\/p>\n

– Inform the Deep-Water Lead of issues which present a significant threat to the Project and in addition offer mitigating measures \/ work plans.<\/p>\n

– Provide reporting function towards Deep Water Lead for the flexible and reel-lay installation activities.<\/p>\n

– Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants and contractors as required.<\/p>\n

– Ensure all marine spread inspection, vetting and follow-up activities are satisfactorily carried out and MWS are engaged in that process.<\/p>\n

– Interfacing to ensure that impacts of co-activities are properly managed and minimized.<\/p>\n

– Ensure identification and resolution of detailed interface issues, in conjunction with other discipline engineers, in an efficient and timely manner.<\/p>\n

– Ensure, in conjunction with project HSE department, that all deep water scope of work activities is performed in compliance with a high regard to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.<\/p>\n

– Ensure that the flexible and reel-lay scopes of work activities are performed in compliance with a high regard to Quality Assurance and Control.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications\/Experience required:<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/b>– Minimum of 10 years\u2019 experience in engineering of large scale EPCI contracts including DW flexibles, reel-lay and structure installation scopes.<\/p>\n

– Experienced and able to assess and analyze an installation spread, contractors\u2019 capabilities and challenge the robustness of their overall execution planning to deliver the installation campaign.<\/p>\n

– Knowledgeable and experienced in general offshore installation aspects as they relate to flexibles, reeled pipelines and structures installation.<\/p>\n

– Able to oversee and judge interfaces with deep water installation vessels and general offshore construction works.<\/p>\n

– Ability to get along well with others in an international \/ multi-cultural environment and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving situations.<\/p>\n

– Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team.<\/p>\n

– Desire to take responsibility for own area of work and to hold self-accountable to deliver in accordance with responsibilities.<\/p>\n

– Ability to manage interfaces between multiple contractors.<\/p>\n

– Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors and contractor personnel and progress collaborative problem solving.<\/p>\n

– Fluency in the English language. A bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering or equivalent is required.<\/p>\n

– Current BOSIET and OGUK medical.<\/p>\n
