Working with around\u00a075 staff, multiple field\u00a0offices\u00a0and a strong partner network, you will ensure that Plan International\u2019s work in Mozambique is impactful, well-funded,\u00a0compliant\u00a0and recognised nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Set strategic direction and provide inspiring leadership to a high-performing senior management team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive business development, diversification of funding and strong donor relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent Plan International at the highest levels with government, donors, civil society,\u00a0media\u00a0and partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure strong\u00a0financial management, governance, risk\u00a0management\u00a0and operational excellence in a complex operating environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Champion\u00a0gender equality, safeguarding and inclusion, embedding them into every aspect of programming,\u00a0influencing\u00a0and organisational culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>About you\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>You are a senior leader with a strong background in\u00a0business development, programme leadership and influencing, with experience working in\u00a0complex international or fragile contexts. You are deeply committed to\u00a0gender equality and girls\u2019 rights, comfortable leading transformational\u00a0change\u00a0and adept at navigating political, security and organisational complexity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>You bring:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience leading large, diverse teams and organisations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong strategic, financial and risk management capability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Credibility and confidence acting as an external representative and advocate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working through partnerships with governments,\u00a0NGOs\u00a0and international actors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent English communication skills and\u00a0reasonable\u00a0communications skills\u00a0of Portuguese\u00a0language is necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Why join Plan International?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This is a rare opportunity to lead an impactful country programme, influence national policy, and contribute to regional leadership across\u00a0the Middle East, East and Southern Africa (MEESA) region.
