Our client, a global leading int the Construction industry, is looking to appoint a RFI Inspector to be based in Afungi.<\/p>\n

Job Purpose<\/h3>\n

The RFI Inspector is responsible for reviewing, validating, and verifying all Request for Information (RFI) submissions related to project execution. The role ensures that technical clarifications, documentation, and field queries are accurate, compliant with project specifications, and properly addressed to avoid delays and rework.<\/p>\n

ACTIVITIES<\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Review and assess RFIs submitted by contractors and suppliers for completeness and technical accuracy.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Inspect and verify site-related RFIs to ensure alignment with project drawings, specifications, and standards.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinate with engineering, QA\/QC, and construction teams to resolve technical queries.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Conduct site inspections where necessary to validate RFI requirements and responses.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure all RFI responses comply with project scope, safety standards, and contractual requirements.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Track RFI status and follow up on pending clarifications to avoid project delays.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Identify discrepancies, non-conformities, or risks and escalate when required.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintain accurate records of RFIs, inspections, and supporting documentation.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support quality assurance and control processes by ensuring proper documentation flow.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION\/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED<\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Proven experience in construction, QA\/QC, inspection, or project engineering roles.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Experience with RFI processes in large-scale projects (Oil & Gas experience is an advantage).<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Good knowledge of HSE and quality compliance requirements.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems.<\/p>\n
