We are the game changers and multi-award-winning recruitment agency in the global recruitment arena, redefining what excellence means in recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>Our client, one of the world\u2019s leading companies in the energy industry, is looking to appoint a Junior Contract &amp; Procurement Due Diligence Officer to be based in Maputo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Junior Contract &amp; Procurement Due Diligence Officer will perform a broad multi-functional role as a member of the Contract &amp; Procurement Governance team, position based in Maputo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Job holder participates to the process and the operations of contracts and procurement entity by performing the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Senior Due Diligence officer to conduct both initial and periodic renewed due diligence screenings with respect to prospective agents, consultants, contractors, co-ventures and other third parties<\/li>\n<li>Help to ensure that due diligence records are complete with the appropriate level of research and documentation<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Due Diligence officer to refresh due diligence records for previously on-boarded third parties<\/li>\n<li>Be able to prepare detailed summaries, analysis, and recommendations for third parties, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Support in reviewing and revising the related anticorruption controls and compliance processes to increase efficiency and mitigate risk<\/li>\n<li>Help providing responsive, customer-oriented service in support of the Company\u2019s international operations consistent with the COMPANY corporate values and anticorruption policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Support the Company\u2019s annual Anticorruption certification and training campaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To help carrying out COMPANY\u2019s anti-corruption due diligence program for any procurement related to Mozambique LNG project and COMPANY, for domestic and international third-party businesses using online tools or programs such as Thompson-Reuters\u2019 World-Check, Dow Jones\u2019 Risk Center, BvD Compliance Catalyst, 319 Insight, FTI Comply, or others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of anticorruption laws and regulations, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, French Sapin II Law, and the U.K. Bribery Act 2010<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Legal, Business Administration or other related disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of controlling, purchasing or contract management,AML\/KYC policies<\/li>\n<li>Professional experience: 3 + years required in Contract &amp; Procurement with Due Diligence<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in both Portuguese and English<\/li>\n<li>Strong self-starter, energetic team player with ability to collaborate with colleagues in a diverse environment across a complex organization<\/li>\n<li>Analytical and critical thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>Solid computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with researching complex data from various sources and use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel<\/li>\n<li>Main Personal Abilities: Basic Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning \/ organizing \/ coordinating \/ controlling, results oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaledgegroup.com\/candidates\/roles\/20646\">https:\/\/www.globaledgegroup.com\/candidates\/roles\/20646<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job title: Junior Contract &amp; Procurement Due Diligence Officer Location:\u00a0\u00a0Maputo, Mozambique Mozambican Nationals Only Global Edge is an international firm specializing in project staffing for the Energy sector, with a presence in Mozambique since 2014.
