We are looking for an\u00a0<strong>Operations Specialist<\/strong>\u00a0with a minimum of 1 year of experience in maritime traffic and a strong command of\u00a0<strong>CargoWise<\/strong>\u00a0to ensure seamless import and export services for their global clientele.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Role:<\/strong>\u00a0Customer Service \u2013 Operations<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Maputo<\/li>\n<li><strong>Educational Requirements:<\/strong>\u00a012th Grade \/ High School Diploma (Minimum)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Mission of the Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To manage assigned maritime traffic processes (import and export) from end to end, ensuring compliance with company quality standards and guaranteeing excellence in customer service.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Customer Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full end-to-end process monitoring for clients and agents.<\/li>\n<li>Traffic management, shipment follow-up, and arrival notifications.<\/li>\n<li>Informing clients regarding the status of customs inspections (Green\/Orange\/Red channels).<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating deliveries following customs clearance.<\/li>\n<li>Managing potential insurance claims with the provider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Import \/ Export Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opening bookings and files within\u00a0<strong>CargoWise<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with shipping lines and carriers according to approved quotes.<\/li>\n<li>Managing pre-alerts and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining permanent contact with all stakeholders in the process.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the warehouse when applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting to the Team Leader and escalating critical incidents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customs Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaising with the Customs Department for clearance.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and prioritizing files\/processes.<\/li>\n<li>Requesting and coordinating the issuance of customs documents (EUR1, Certificates of Origin, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation and Invoicing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing necessary documentation (Loading Orders, Bills of Lading, Transport Orders, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Sending documentation to shippers, consignees, and agents.<\/li>\n<li>Issuing client invoices and validating supplier invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Recording and archiving all documentation in internal systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance and Management System<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compliance with Quality, Compliance, Health and Safety at Work, GDPR, and environmental best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting supplier evaluation and documentary control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Mandatory Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Minimum 1 year of experience<\/strong>\u00a0as a Traffic Operator within a freight forwarder.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in maritime import and export traffic.<\/li>\n<li>Strong operational knowledge (<strong>experience with CargoWise is highly valued<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Behavioral Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong customer orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Sense of responsibility and commitment.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Stress tolerance.<\/li>\n<li>Team spirit.<\/li>\n<li>Organization and methodical approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/cclglobal.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/bullhorn-oscp\/#\/jobs\/7771\">https:\/\/cclglobal.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/bullhorn-oscp\/#\/jobs\/7771<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently managing the recruitment for a prominent international freight forwarder&#8217;s team in Maputo.
