{"id":28382,"date":"2026-02-17T06:00:25","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T06:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=28382"},"modified":"2026-02-17T06:12:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T06:12:11","slug":"vaga-lead-surveyor-mozambique-lng-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-lead-surveyor-mozambique-lng-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaga &#8211; Lead Surveyor &#8211; Mozambique LNG Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: Lead Surveyor<br \/>\n<\/strong>Location: Mozambique LNG Camp, Afungi Peninsula, Mozambique with travel to other project sites (Maputo, Pemba, etc) as needed during rotation.<br \/>\nStatus: Rotational 28\/28<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with Project teams to identify all onshore and offshore positioning\/survey activities and operations conducted by Project that require positioning techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Technically manage bid evaluations, award recommendations and contract document preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Issue survey elements for SimOps dossier or any other request from stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Support positioning activities relative to these operations on behalf of Company (site surveys, rig moves, pipeline inspection, pre-lay, as-laid, as-built surveys, metrologies for both offshore and onshore).<\/li>\n<li>Review Contractors specifications, procedures and method statements relative to positioning or survey activities and ensure their effective implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Perform QA\/QC of survey results and liaise with Geomatics Team for implementation in GIS system.<\/li>\n<li>Support survey-grade drone operations at site by providing supervision and expertise in ground control, trajectory computation, bundle block adjustment and validating final products accuracy (3D model, orthophoto, DTM\/DSM) .<\/li>\n<li>Perform geodetic, topographic, GNSS calculations by use of appropriate survey software.<\/li>\n<li>Support Project teams on ad-hoc requests by providing insights in topography, positioning and geodesy and any other geomatics related field and issue reports\/memos documenting critical findings.<\/li>\n<li>Define and implement a positioning data management policy based on Company standards to guarantee reliability and sustainability of the data.<\/li>\n<li>Manage company-owned survey equipment including metrology interfaces and make recommendations for technological implementation in improving positioning accuracy at site.<\/li>\n<li>Manage service company spending and ensure cost forecast are in accordance with budget.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules during work and travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Experience required<\/strong><br \/>\nBachelor of Science required (Master of Science preferred) in Hydrography, Geodesy or Land Survey<\/p>\n<p>Required qualifications include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technical domain (Land Survey, offshore survey including LBL, Sparse LBL, USBL, INS processing).<br \/>\n&#8211; Minimum of 5 years of experience acting as Company Representative for positioning &amp; survey activities (Rig Moves, Survey, Installation, Inspection,<br \/>\nMetrologies).<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience in manipulating commonly used CAD &amp; positioning processing softwares (AutoCAD\/Microstation\/CIVIL3D, Novatel, Leica, RTKLib, Sonardyne<br \/>\nFusion, Kongsberg APOS, EIVA, SALSA, DelphINS).<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience in aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR survey and processing.<br \/>\n&#8211; Experience in GIS and remote sensing would be a plus (QGIS, ESRI suite, Global Mapper).<br \/>\n&#8211; Good knowledge of Field Development Projects in Oil&amp;Gas industry both Offshore and Onshore.<br \/>\n&#8211; Fluent oral and written knowledge of English is required.<br \/>\n&#8211; Soft skills: Rigorous, Conscientious, Observant, Pro-active, Autonomous, Adaptive, Team player.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nesfircroft.com\/job\/lead-surveyor\/\">https:\/\/www.nesfircroft.com\/job\/lead-surveyor\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Lead Surveyor Location: Mozambique LNG Camp, Afungi Peninsula, Mozambique with travel to other project sites (Maputo, Pemba, etc) as needed during rotation.
