We’re hiring – Import & Export controller.
\nDuty Location -Beira, Sofala, Mozambique<\/p>\n
Outline of Duties & Responsibilities:
\n* Create, complete and monitor the Import\/export file from the beginning till completing the shipments.
\n* Contact and advise the customers for the requirements and procedures and ensure that all relative documents are on place on time to avoid possible hindrances with the process.
\n*Update information in data base systems as they are essential in monitoring of the shipments for payment\/processing purposes and maintain data integrity.
\n* Submit the required documents for Customs clearance and for the Port booking to the related personnel and chase the process for timely receiving of the approvals and clearances.
\n* Co-ordinate with the internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payment of all relevant invoices and distribute the information among the involved parties.
\n* Be on a position to provide any time requested information, supported by e-mail or other evidence, for all actions done.
\n* Work closely with the shipping lines for tracking the shipments movement and keep the clients constantly aware for the situation, following their updating instructions.
\n* Be in constant contact with Operations team for timely loading and moving of the cargo, complying with the customer requirements.
\n*Work constantly and be proactive for improving of the import procedures and internal\/external correspondence in order any possible demurrage\/storage costs to be minimized.
\n* Handle complexity to deal with different types of cargo – containerized, container unpacking, bulk and communicate with number of shipping lines\/agents.<\/p>\n
