Our client, one of the world\u2019s leading companies in the construction industry, is looking to appoint a successful Senior Recruiter to be based in Maputo.<\/p>\n

KEY ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Partner closely with the HR Manager sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring processes.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Analyze and fully understand technical and professional job requirements.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Develop tailored sourcing and search strategies for each vacancy.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Create and manage recruitment funnels, tactics, and procedures to ensure timely hiring.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Prepare recruitment materials and post vacancies on job boards, company website, print media, social media, universities, and other relevant platforms.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Source candidates using internal databases, social media, professional networks, educational institutions, associations, and direct outreach.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Expand candidate pipelines through cold and warm calling.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Pre-screen applications to assess candidate suitability, interest, and availability.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate technical competence, experience, and cultural fit.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Perform and follow up on candidate reference checks.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Use reference checks strategically to identify and attract additional talent.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring professional and positive candidate experience.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Submit shortlisted candidates to the responsible Account Manager or hiring stakeholder.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Follow up on recruitment progress and provide regular status updates.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, candidates, and internal staff.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintain, manage, and regularly update the internal candidate database.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Review recruitment software and recommend suitable tools aligned with company needs.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and recruitment initiatives.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Build and strengthen the company\u2019s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, industry contacts, and partners.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Leverage association memberships and social media to enhance talent attraction.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Conduct employee inductions and support onboarding processes.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Organize and support employee engagement activities, including birthdays and work anniversaries.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Minimum of 5\u20138 years\u2019 experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in an agency and\/or corporate environment.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Proven experience recruiting technical and professional roles across multiple functions and seniority levels.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Hands-on experience using ATS\/recruitment software, job boards, and social media platforms for talent sourcing.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies and build sustainable talent pipelines.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Experience working closely with hiring managers, account managers, and senior stakeholders.<\/p>\n
