Short Description \/ Purpose of Job<\/strong><\/p>\n

Supports the commissioning and start-up effort and into operations through operating process equipment, systems, and processes for a specific plant\/unit within the Sasol environment to achieve production requirements in a safe manner.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recruitment Description \/ Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Completion of full commissioning and startup training according to the matrix;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Execution of commissioning tasks as instructed by the Shift Leader;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Participation in drilling activities;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Operation of applicable equipment and plant inspection, and production of fault reports;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Safe start-up and shutdown of equipment and identification and resolution of applicable equipment problems;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Participation in shift handover meetings and provision of appropriate feedback to the Supervisor on work progress;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Participation in root cause analyses and provision of opinions to RCA teams, as well as participation in risk assessments in accordance with legislation and company requirements to improve safety;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Identification of training and personal development needs and incorporation into the Individual Development Plan (IDP) with the approval of the group leader;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Conducting IMS inspections to maintain and improve plant sustainability;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintaining good cleanliness and adhering to waste disposal procedures;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Working independently or with minimal supervision;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure understanding and knowledge of the business, guidelines, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Grade 12 or NQF Level IV in Mechanics, Electricity or Welding;<\/p>\n

\u2022 3 (three) years of relevant experience for the role;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fluency in Portuguese and good knowledge of English;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mozambican nationality.<\/p>\n
