CARE Mozambique, through the Turning on the Taps project, is seeking a Civil Engineer to support our team in assessing boreholes and small water systems in Nampula Province.<\/p>\n
This short-term consultancy will provide technical expertise to:
\n\ud83d\udca7 Conduct assessments of boreholes and existing mini water systems
\n\ud83d\udca7Produce technical recommendations and a detailed report on required repairs, upgrades, and solarization opportunities
\n\ud83d\udcd1 Draft Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents for rehabilitation works
\n\ud83e\uddf0 Support the technical evaluation of received bids
\n\ud83d\udd0d Monitor rehabilitation and solarization works in coordination with the CARE field team<\/p>\n
We\u2019re looking for someone with:
\n\u2705 Proven experience in rural water supply systems, borehole design and rehabilitation, and solar-powered pumping
\n\u2705 Solid knowledge of Mozambican water infrastructure standards and regulations
\n\u2705 Ability to work collaboratively with community members, local authorities, and CARE\u2019s technical staff
\nThe consultant will work closely with the Turning Taps team to ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions that enhance access to clean and reliable water for rural communities.
