The onshore facilities include two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 13 mtpa, condensate storage, marine facilities, utilities, and extensive early site infrastructure. With a workforce expected to peak at around 15,000 personnel, this is one of the most significant energy developments in Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Overview<\/strong><br \/>\nThe\u00a0<strong>HSE Head ISBL<\/strong>\u00a0will lead a team of up to 15 professionals and play a key leadership role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across the Inside Battery Limits (ISBL) area of the project. The role is predominantly field-based, requiring a strong HSE presence on site to drive safety culture, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company and contractor HSE standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote and inspire strong safety commitment across all teams and contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all project and company HSE requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead by example in implementing HSE initiatives, campaigns, and the Stop Work Authority program.<\/li>\n<li>Support the achievement of zero-incident targets through proactive engagement and leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct inspections and audits to ensure effective risk control and adherence to procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions to closure.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve contractor HSE documentation and performance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and deputize for the HSE Manager as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree, diploma, or vocational training in Engineering, Construction, or HSE.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of\u00a0<strong>10 years\u2019 experience<\/strong>\u00a0in HSE within the oil &amp; gas industry, preferably in large-scale EPC projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead HSE teams and influence a strong safety culture.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English (written and spoken); Portuguese or French is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Appy for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aptrack.co\/uap\/AAAGPwAPoPoB8kV7\/\">https:\/\/www.aptrack.co\/uap\/AAAGPwAPoPoB8kV7\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HSE Head \u2013 Mozambique LNG Project Location:\u00a0Afungi Site, Mozambique (rotational position) Project:\u00a0Mozambique LNG Onshore Project Contract Type:\u00a0Long-term contract About the Project \u00a0Mozambique LNG is a landmark $18 billion project representing a major investment in the region\u2019s energy sector.
