The position will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and routinely interacts with the Project Management Team on site.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Responsible for managing all cost control requirements on the project<\/li>\n<li>Participate in cost forecast review sessions of the project with PMT<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of conformed estimates from the as-sold estimates developed by Estimating<\/li>\n<li>Support project team on change management<\/li>\n<li>Participate and contribute in the risks and opportunities workshops<\/li>\n<li>Advises Project Management of forecast risks as soon as they are identified<\/li>\n<li>Analyze cost and schedule data and recommend solutions or recovery plans as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and adherence to internal controls and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Advises Project Management of forecast risks as soon as they are identified<\/li>\n<li>Required to update on a regular basis all required reports to client.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration with Finance\/ Accounting on financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Support internal cost control deliverables and regional reporting<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks as required including but not limited to training, time keeping, administration support etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Local Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role is\u00a0<strong>rotational-based<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It operates on a\u00a0<strong>single status<\/strong>\u00a0(i.e., not family-accompanied)<\/li>\n<li>The location is the\u00a0<strong>Afungi site<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quantity Surveying or Engineering Diploma\/ Degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of relevant\u00a0EPC experience in the Oil &amp; Gas \/ Energy \/ Petrochemical Industry<\/li>\n<li><span data-teams=\"true\">Equivalent years of experience with Cost Control and Forecasting<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of different contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC etc.<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate to advanced level in MS applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with JDE or similar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Skills and Behaviors<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively embraces and promotes the company\u2019s values and culture, including diversity &amp; inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment<\/li>\n<li>High ethical behavior<\/li>\n<li>Time consciousness<\/li>\n<li>Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills including team player attitude<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifies and solves problems<\/li>\n<li>Mentally agile and ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability and agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments<\/li>\n<li>A mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve results<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.cbi.com\/careers-about\/jobs\/3234?lang=en-us&amp;mode=apply&amp;iis=LinkedIn\">https:\/\/careers.cbi.com\/careers-about\/jobs\/3234?lang=en-us&amp;mode=apply&amp;iis=LinkedIn<\/a><\/p>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description Company Overview CB&amp;I\u00ae\u00a0is the world\u2019s leading designer and builder of storage facilities, tanks and terminals.\u00a0\u00a0With more than 60,000 structures completed\u00a0throughout our 135+ year history, we have the global expertise and strategically-located operations to provide customers world-class storage solutions for\u00a0even the most complex energy infrastructure projects.
