Our client, world’s leading designer and builder of storage facilities, tanks and terminals, is looking to appoint a successful IR Officer in Afungi.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth. (Company Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures)<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Advise managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company. Counsels\u2019 managers on employment issues<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Establish and maintain a Workers Forum Commit<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Assists with employee communication.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure compliance with corporate and government employment policies.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Manage the local recruitment process of craft using the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Manage the establishment of an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including new hire orientation and the documentation of required plant and\/or skill training. Specifically, but not limited to Medical, Site Induction, HSE Induction and HR Induction.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensures annual training required is conducted and training records maintained.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Establish and Manage all Industrial Relations requirements on the Project Site.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/h3>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Diploma in HR \/IR Field<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a05 years previous experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in Mozambique<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Excellent knowledge of Mozambican Labor laws and practices that apply in that region.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Sound knowledge and experience in ensuring legal compliance in the recruitment scope.<\/p>\n
