We are the game changers and multi-award-winning agency in the global staffing arena, redefining what excellence means in recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>Our client, a global leading provider in the Energy industry, is looking to appoint a successful Contractor Social Performance Officer to be based in Cabo Delgado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to capturing bottlenecks, improvement opportunities, and lessons learned related to the &#8211; Contractors Contractor Social and Economic Development Performance Procedure Ensure field-level awareness and understanding of Contractor Social and Economic Development Performance requirements as defined in contracts by working with C&amp;P (Contracts &amp; Procurement) to review contracts and compile a database of contractor social management requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that grievances related to construction contract footprint are correctly registered on the grievance framework based on IFC Performance Standards\/World Bank &#8211; IFC and Extractive Industries Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Contractors to ensure awareness, understanding, and capacity to address Social and Economic Development Performance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Design and delivery of Social and Economic Development Performance training modules for contractors<\/li>\n<li>Implement Systems to ensure Contractors are meeting obligations. The system will identify key drivers of social risk \u2013 location, geography, community interface, workforce, etc. \u2013 to prioritize activities<\/li>\n<li>Perform site visits, Standard Checklist, and Site Visit Completion<\/li>\n<li>Working with contractors to implement corrective actions when gaps in SED Performance are identified<\/li>\n<li>Act as the primary point of contact between Construction contractors and the Social Performance Team.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake routine monitoring and evaluation of Construction Contractors\u2019 Social and Economic Development Programs.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting On Contractor Social Performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual basis, as required<\/li>\n<li>Review IP (Implementing Partners) reports and guide to achieve the objectives established in the SOW (Scope of Work) \u2013 on Contractors Socioeconomic Performance procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Implement continuous improvement based on Lean methodology in Social Performance and cross-cutting functions.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the institutional memory stored and updated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The main purpose of the Contractor Social Performance Officer is to:<\/li>\n<li>Implement Contractor Social and Economic Development Performance Verification framework.<\/li>\n<li>Implement contractor Social Performance Monitoring and Assurance Framework<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Construction Contract Socio and Economic impacts and risks framework<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Construction Contract Social License to Operate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>QUALIFICATION\/EXPERIENCED REQUIRED\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in economics, social science, rural development, and similar areas<\/li>\n<li>5 years\u2019 of relevant working experience, preferably combining Social and Economic Development with Contracting &amp; Procurement \u2022 It requires a detailed understanding and experience of qualitative data collection and experience in the supervision of qualitative data collection.<\/li>\n<li>PMO skills on a cross-cutting environment<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with global industry best practices for environmental and social performance, requirements, and guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication in Portuguese and English.<\/li>\n<li>Mozambique Northern Languages proficiency will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaledgegroup.com\/candidates\/roles\/19416\">https:\/\/www.globaledgegroup.com\/candidates\/roles\/19416<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JOB TITLE: Contractor Social Performance Officer Division:Social Performance LOCATION:\u00a0Cabo Delgado Global Edge is an international firm specializing in project staffing for the Energy sector, with a presence in Mozambique since 2014.
