ASEZA (African Sustainable Economic Zones Alliance) is a developer and operator of Economic Zones across Africa. In Mozambique, ASEZA is operating through its daughter company MozParks, which is mandated to develop 20 key economic zones within the country and has 3 ongoing park projects: Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP), Cabo Delgado Parks, and Topuito Industrial Park.<\/p>\n
ABOUT THE ROLE <\/b><\/p>\n
ASEZA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Advisor to join our financial advisory team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience. You will support financial analysis, reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your contributions will be integral to shaping investment strategies and delivering top-tier client service.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <\/b><\/p>\n \u25e6 Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing technical financial documents, proposals, and reports.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Help prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Maintain up-to-date financial databases within our google drive system.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Track key metrics and generate periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Assist in creating financial models and forecasts.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Support senior advisors in preparing data-driven recommendations.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Monitor and report on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory updates.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Ensure internal processes and client documentation adhere to relevant financial regulations and company policies.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Support the implementation of compliance controls and contribute to internal audits.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Participate in meetings and correspondence with key stakeholders, including donor organisations (e.g., World Bank, AfDB), private sector actors, and government entities.<\/p>\n \u25e6 Support the preparation of briefing notes and follow-up communications to ensure alignment and collaboration.<\/p>\n REQUIREMENTS <\/b><\/p>\n 1.Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.<\/p>\n 2.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<\/p>\n 3.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.<\/p>\n 4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n 5.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n 6.Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance frameworks is a plus.<\/p>\n\n
