Heading is recruiting for its client, a\u00a0Local Food Supply Chain & Hygiene Quality Standard Coordinator<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0(M\/F) to be based in\u00a0Cabo Delgado\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Main responsibilities:<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/b>– Lead in the designing, approval, and implementation, budget management, evaluation and reporting of food chain supply projects\u00a0within Cabo Delgado Province.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Lead in the contractual arrangements to ensure local food supply chain, local value chain, catering arrangements (meals rate, menu\u00a0specifications; menu; manpower) embedded within Contractors and other suppliers to satisfy the MozLNG needs.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Work closely with contractors in mentorship, and develop capacity building of Implementing Partners, MSME\u2019s and all Food Supply\u00a0Chain components to ensure compliance of Food Safety and Hygiene Quality Standards (HACCP; GMP; GAP; GHP; ISO, GFSI, etc),<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Access, review and monitor the MozLNG Menus to meet all recommended dietary allowances, nutritional requirements, and all local\u00a0production.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Develop \/ Improve, implement, and oversee comprehensive Food Safety and Quality programs and policies in Food Supply Chain to\u00a0ensure compliance with local, national and international regulations. This includes standards such as HACCP, FSMA, GMP and others.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Engage internal and external stakeholders in developing the local market by training and purchasing from local entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies to maximize the Local Content and footprint of MozLNG.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Develop educational initiatives and events to promote nutritional, food security and sustainable practices in Food Supply Chain\u00a0Components<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Conducting Internal Health & Hygiene Inspections and Audits with medical team and main contractors at MozLNG Camps.<\/p>\n

– Develop, monitoring, reviewing, analyzing performance metrics and data trends with suppliers and contractors highlighting\u00a0improvement requirements or opportunities.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Comply with local and National Authorities laws and regulations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Accountabilities<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/b>– Contribute to the implementation of feasible and sustainable local value chain development projects within Cabo Delgado Province.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Ensure implementation of Food Safety and Quality Systems on local value chain development projects and MozLNG.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Control and record of Data to ensure safe performance in all contractors<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications\/Experience required<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– Complete higher education in Agronomy, Nutrition, Food Science, Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality.<\/p>\n

– Minimum of 10 years relevant administrative experience required, in a multi-national company as preference requirement.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Experience in the establishment and\/or growth of local value chains.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Fluent English and Portuguese, oral and written.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Skills in Mozambican and International Laws, Regulations and ISO\u2019s (ISO 22000; ISO 9001; ISO 14001; HACCP and other relevants)<\/p>\n

– Proactive and action-oriented team player.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Project management experience with a focus on the implementation of management systems, planning skills, and workload\u00a0management.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Ability to plan, implement and track project results and performance measures with the creation and monitoring of robust indicators.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0Knowledge of methods and tools for evaluating and monitoring projects.<\/p>\n
