Heading is recruiting for its client, a\u00a0Lead Purchaser\u00a0<\/b>(M\/F) to be based in\u00a0Cabo DElgado<\/b><\/p>\n
Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n – Supervise and control all the purchasing, tendering activities of his\/her team daily<\/p>\n – Receive, control and manage proper distribution to his\/her buyers of all PRs for materials coming from all other entities and assigned to him by the CP Manager<\/p>\n – Participate in complex and difficult negotiations associated with award, performance & amendment of POs for his\/her team<\/p>\n – Validate or ensure validation of all contractual documents and formal letters issued by his\/her team<\/p>\n – Ensure the reception, management and follow up of purchase orders (PO\u2019s) until payment and reception by his\/her team<\/p>\n – Ensure global reporting of his\/her team\u2019s activities to the C& Manager<\/p>\n – Ensure the update of the suppliers database<\/p>\n – Ensure the input of all purchase data in SAP for his\/her team<\/p>\n – Successfully prepare, negotiate and administer a broad range of complex, technical and high value\/risk purchases<\/p>\n – Contribute to the issuing of the Procurement Planning and help plan the purchasing workload in conjunction with business, operations, corporate and Partners\u2019<\/p>\n – Ensure efficiency of Duets\/Triplets<\/p>\n – Participate to the follow-up and the evaluation of suppliers with Partners\u2019 Entities<\/p>\n – Contribute to reporting Key Performance Indicators for the purchasing activities of his\/her team<\/p>\n – Use and enrich Market Intelligence information, Cost models, target prices<\/p>\n – Encourage the use of e-sourcing tools<\/p>\n – Ensure compliance of the procurement process with all internal Company rules (including Total Code of conduct) and all applicable laws and regulation<\/p>\n – Ensure the application of TEPMA1 General Terms and Conditions for purchase of equipment\u2019s<\/p>\n – Ensure the good administration and filing of all the purchasing documents and ensure that all approvals, justifications, circulation forms are in line with the applicable procedures.<\/p>\n – Ensure that all procurement activities meet audit requirements to minimize any potential partner\/audit claims or court actions.<\/p>\n – Be in constant alignment with H3SE Company rules, Procedures, Instructions and applicable legislation<\/p>\n – Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger.<\/p>\n – Exercising caution as necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or avoid pollution<\/p>\n – Participate actively in H3SE meetings, training sessions and drills and co-operate actively in the execution of H3SE plans<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n – To manage procurement processes delivering best quality in time and at the optimal cost<\/p>\n – To participate in the improvement of procurement practices<\/p>\n – To mentor members of his\/her team, and when possible other local staff<\/p>\n – To successfully prepare, negotiate and administer a broad range of complex, technical and high value\/risk purchases<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Requirements:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n – CP competencies<\/p>\n – Intermediate level in Purchasing Technical Competencies required<\/p>\n – Basic or intermediate on other technical competencies<\/p>\n – CP tools advanced certification required<\/p>\n – Good command of English language<\/p>\n – Professional experience: 6-7 years (Minimum 2 years in technical contracts domain) with exposure on operations<\/p>\n – Personal Abilities: Advanced Management, Advanced Human Relations, Problem Solving and Planning \/ organizing \/ coordinating \/ controlling, general knowledge and understanding of commercial, legal and insurance issues affecting the company in general. Customer-oriented, intermediate negotiation skills<\/p>\n – Good communication, organizational skills, capabilities to take workload & work under pressure, able to work in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.<\/p>\n
