Heading is recruiting for its client, an Oil and Gas Company, a\u00a0– Flight Coordinator\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>(M\/F)<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0to work in\u00a0cabo Delgado\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– Be conversant\/comply with Mozambique Legislation.<\/p>\n

– Always adhere to the values and principles of the Company Code of Conduct; be conversant\/comply with Company Rules, Procedures, and Instructions; ensure full compliance with SOX standards with respect to system security and reporting.<\/p>\n

– Promote, Implement and\/or supervise the necessary preventive and corrections action to ensure safety of personnel, protection of the environment and assets integrity in his domain of activities in line with national regulation, international guidelines and HSE requirements.<\/p>\n

– Promote safe and responsible work culture and an injury-free work environment; promptly report all unsafe behaviour and\/or act related to the\u00a0aviation operations and passenger transit using primary MySafety4All application; help enforcing the Stop Card principle with concerned transport team(s), coordinate passengers\u2019 arrival, departure from\/to airport for smooth, timely and safe transit.<\/p>\n

– Supervise the personnel check-in, boarding and disembarking operations at the airport (manifesting of PAX and cargo, boarding passes provision and troubleshooting)<\/p>\n

Accountabilities :\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– Implement decisions wrt. number of flights, legs, and changes to the flight schedule.<\/p>\n

– Communicate initial flight schedule, disseminate revision to flight schedule if\/when required<\/p>\n

– Ensure timely release of the final PAX and Cargo Manifests.<\/p>\n

– Ensure that all flights are closed on due time.<\/p>\n

– Optimization of the aircraft utilization<\/p>\n

– keep up to date the KPIs database \u2013 ensure timely delivery and accuracy of the weekly\/monthly\/quarterly and yearly reporting, act as focal point for the air operator\u2019s reporting on the assigned airport.<\/p>\n

– Keep up to date a digital \u201cdossier\u201d in which all air operators\u2019 personnel licenses, important communication or materials and training certificates are saved.<\/p>\n

– The management of irregularities (AOG, delays) and operational consequences in relation with other services<\/p>\n

– Whenever required, contribute into the operational procedure developments, applications, and improvements.<\/p>\n

– Carry out any other activities as may be assigned by Site Management with approval from his Line Manager.<\/p>\n

– Ensure ground operations are performed in compliance with highest HSE standards and as per planned schedule with no delays attributable to passenger(s) or air operator\u2019s personnel.<\/p>\n

– Ensure Air operations are performed as per Company Rules and specifications.<\/p>\n

– Ensure Coordination of aviation activities at Site level with a constant focus on optimisation, minimizing impact on environment.<\/p>\n

Qualifications\/Experience required.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– Has a minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in Oil and Gas Upstream Industry and\/or Aviation activities.<\/p>\n

– Knowledge of aviation referential, basic knowledge aviation standards (IOGP) and ICAO \/ EASA regulation, IQSMS system Knowledge or equivalent; previous experience in air operator operations, capability to produce procedures, manual and studies ;<\/p>\n

– Proven experience in a multi-cultural context, experience of relationship with air operators, airport services, airport authorities, rigor, sense of organization, ability to anticipate and advanced MS Office user.<\/p>\n

– Fluent in English and Portuguese.<\/p>\n
