{"id":20601,"date":"2025-05-06T06:50:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T06:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=20601"},"modified":"2025-05-06T06:50:00","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T06:50:00","slug":"vaga-monitoring-and-evaluation-accountability-and-learning-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-monitoring-and-evaluation-accountability-and-learning-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaga &#8211; Monitoring and Evaluation Accountability and Learning Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The MEAL Specialist is responsible for coordinating all internal and external MPA&amp;E activities, allowing the project to maintain its strategic objectives and the actions to contribute to the achievement of the desired results efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>The selected candidate will be based in Lichinga, Mozambique, and will report to the Project Manager at CIMMYT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead a group of researchers and technicians through the development of the research project to guarantee the correct execution and timing of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and analyze the data collected in the research project to guarantee its accuracy and relevance to the project outline.<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop an experiment according to a variety of methods, availability and quantity of resources to contribute to the main research project.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and evaluate facts and new experiment\u2019s findings to contribute to the research analysis and publication results.<\/li>\n<li>Manage research data generated from field trials to maintain an accurate and updated database system.<\/li>\n<li>Produce progress reports of the experiments on a regular basis to contribute to the data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Interpret and prepare data to guarantee the publication in a peer review journal.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with applicable health and safety CIP policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Support the definition and improvement of indicators and targets appropriate to the monitoring and evaluation of the project&#8217;s performance at the operational and results level<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of the M&amp;E plan and system (including processes, tools, procedures and templates) that allow for the easy collection and analysis of data related to the indicators within the Results Matrices<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the implementation of tools for systematizing the monitoring process of project indicators and targets, allowing quick access by the different stakeholders to historical and aggregated information of the indicators<\/li>\n<li>Create an institutional database of M&amp;E and Dash Boards for easy viewing and monitoring of progress<\/li>\n<li>To design a knowledge management strategy aimed at organizational learning, to extract relevant learning that can serve as a basis for improving the institution&#8217;s projects and\/or activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/cgiar.zohorecruit.com\/jobs\/CIP-Jobs\/268451000027619014\/Monitoring-and-Evaluation-Accountability-and-Learning-Specialist?source=CareerSite\">https:\/\/cgiar.zohorecruit.com\/jobs\/CIP-Jobs\/268451000027619014\/Monitoring-and-Evaluation-Accountability-and-Learning-Specialist?source=CareerSite<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The MEAL Specialist is responsible for coordinating all internal and external MPA&amp;E activities, allowing the project to maintain its strategic objectives and the actions to contribute to the achievement of the desired results efficiently.
