strategies<\/li>\n<li>Provide investment advice, tactics and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Support in targeting and winning business<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate and structure large deals<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all parties involved in transactions and assist with negotiations<\/li>\n<li>Assess and predict financial risks and returns related to the debt business<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to competitive bid proposals and formal presentations<\/li>\n<li>Financial analysis related to transactions<\/li>\n<li>Financial modelling and scenario analysis<\/li>\n<li>Drafting documentation with a compelling rationale to generate interest in funding proposals, CPF, project finance opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to deal negotiations<\/li>\n<li>Client-facing interaction with senior decision-making executives<\/li>\n<li>Working directly with the senior management team on deals<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with Treasury, Credit, Corporate Banking, Legal, and ABSA Capital, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Support on the deal origination and Business development<\/li>\n<li>Financial modelling and analysis of financial data (both historic and forecast)<\/li>\n<li>Review of BSC nd NBC documents and taking new transactions to BSC<\/li>\n<li>Review of credit papers<\/li>\n<li>Due diligence reviews on potential transactions<\/li>\n<li>Review and sign off on Letter of interest, Term Sheet and Mandate Letters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>People Development &amp; Management<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing pitches\/discussion document for discussions with prospective\/new clients<\/li>\n<li>Develop skills and knowledge required as a business manager, supporting the corporate banking relationship team in business development, structuring and execution of debt transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a close working relationship with the corporate banking front office team, sharing knowledge and good practice and helping to develop Corporate Finance and Credit capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Build collaborative network with peers including other SBUs, clusters etc namely Absa Capital and Absa Investment Banking.<\/li>\n<li>Actively support and further Absa activities in the local community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Business Management <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Corporate Heads, Relationship Managers and their teams to provide complete financing solutions to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Management which involves client visits.<\/li>\n<li>Assist country corporate teams in the execution of mandates.<\/li>\n<li>Assist country corporate teams in the preparation of deal applications.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and translate opportunities into new product programs or product enhancements to generate profitable business and product performance.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the appropriate support areas to ensure that legal and contingency requirements are established with regards to debt.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor service level agreements (internal and external) and relevant KPIs to debt.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and produce business cases to support enhancements and new product approval.<\/li>\n<li>Support CIB Director in KPIs delivery<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Salesforce and all databases are updated.<\/li>\n<li>Support in-country teams with product execution and delivery<\/li>\n<li>Conducting client and deal level analysis<\/li>\n<li>Support Product Head with client planning<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal departments to ensure company meets clients\u2019 expectations
