\nOur client seeks a strategic Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations for their Mozambique division. This role is critical in driving profitability, optimising cost efficiency, and ensuring robust financial controls to support the company\u2019s growth and compliance objectives.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udccc Key Responsibilities
\nFinancial Leadership: Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and budgets; lead month-end processes and regulatory reporting.
\nPerformance Analysis: Analyse financial data (costs, pricing, ROI) and compare actual performance against business plans.
\nRisk & Compliance: Manage financial risks, ensure compliance with audit principles, and implement effective cash management practices.
\nStrategic Planning: Advise senior management on financial strategies, cost-reduction opportunities, and long-term objectives.
\nStakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal teams (Sales, Operations, HR) to align financial goals.
\nProcess Improvement: Develop and refine financial controls, operational procedures, and budget variance analysis frameworks.
\nTeam Development: Mentor staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement through skills transfer.<\/p>\n
\ud83c\udf1f Requirements
\nEducation & Experience:
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\u2019s in Finance preferred).
\nFull ACCA\/CIMA\/CIS certification.
\nMinimum 5 years of experience in financial management, analysis, or accounting.
\nProven track record in financial planning, compliance, and stakeholder management.
\nSkills & Competencies:
\nStrong business acumen, expert in budgeting, financial modelling, and cost analysis.
\nLeadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
\nHigh integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
\nAdvanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
\nExcellent communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
\nFluency in English (Portuguese a plus).<\/p>\n
