Key Duties and Responsibilities <\/b><\/p>\n – Oversee all financial operations of the organization.<\/p>\n – Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.<\/p>\n – Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.<\/p>\n – Prepare and monitor the annual budget.<\/p>\n – Conduct financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n – Prepare periodic financial reports for management and donors.<\/p>\n – Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.<\/p>\n – Coordinate the preparation of audited financial statements.<\/p>\n – Maintain efficient and effective accounting systems.<\/p>\n – Ensure the organization meets all fiscal and regulatory obligations.<\/p>\n – Facilitate internal and external audits.<\/p>\n – Implement audit recommendations to enhance financial controls.<\/p>\n Required Qualifications <\/b><\/p>\n \uf0d8 Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field<\/p>\n \uf0d8 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the NGO or humanitarian sector.<\/p>\n \uf0d8 Strong knowledge of accounting and financial practices.<\/p>\n \uf0d8 Proficiency in Online Quickbook.<\/p>\n \uf0d8 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n Languages <\/b><\/p>\n Proficiency in Portuguese and English<\/p>\n Safeguard Statement <\/b><\/p>\n Good Neighbors Mozambique has a zero tolerance to any harm or sexual exploitation and abuse against any beneficiaries<\/p>\n (or program participants).
