{"id":20016,"date":"2025-04-21T09:16:44","date_gmt":"2025-04-21T09:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=20016"},"modified":"2025-04-21T09:39:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T09:39:28","slug":"vagas-driver-expedited-recruitment-2-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vagas-driver-expedited-recruitment-2-positions\/","title":{"rendered":"Vagas &#8211; Driver (Expedited Recruitment) 2 Positions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Driver (Expedited Recruitment) 2 Positions<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Maputo, Mozambique<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Under the overall supervision of the Supply Chain Officer and direct supervision of the Senior Logistics Assistant, the incumbent shall provide driving services with IOM vehicles in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner to support projects and operational activities in the area of responsibility<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Drive assigned IOM office vehicle(s).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle(s) to ensure roadworthiness of the vehicles. This includes daily check of tires, brakes, engine oil, fan belt, etc.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Arrange for minor repairs and ensures that the vehicles are kept clean.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure that the vehicles undertake regular service intervals.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Keep records of spare parts for vehicle(s) and conduct monthly inventory of the spare parts.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Find the most direct and safe route over the best available roads to the destination.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure that the IOM vehicle(s) is used only for official\/authorized business, as advised by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Make sure that the daily log sheet is prepared, and a monthly report is prepared summarizing statistics linked to mileage, fuel consumption, etc. for the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Keep a high degree of confidentiality and discreteness in discussions, which involves IOM and its officials. Take proper actions to reduce potential security threats to IOM officials and\/or property within the immediate vicinity of the vehicle and along transport routes.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Meet official personnel at the airport(s) and facilitate immigration and customs formalities as required.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Collect and deliver mail, documents, pouches, and other communications\/items from and to the country office;
