The incumbent drafts internal memos\/summaries for the VP-Project Governance and the Business Development Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Project Partners, in coordination with Legal and other teams as necessary, in relation to ongoing commercial matters.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the fulfillment of mandatory reporting and corporate obligations of the Project\u2019s Special Purpose Entities (SPE\u2019s).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the provision of regular updates for the Business Development Manager and Project Partners regarding the status SPE\u2019s reporting and corporate obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the preparation and submission of the Project\u2019s quarterly and annual activity reports to the National Petroleum Institute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree from a recognized institution in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Business or Law (however not a practicing attorney), Master\u2019s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.<\/li>\n<li>10 or more years business experience preferably in Oil and Gas, Energy or Heavy industry.<\/li>\n<li>Business experience in African Countries, preferably In Mozambique.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred business experience includes:<\/li>\n<li>Regular interaction with governmental agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial\/negotiating experience.<\/li>\n<li>Mining or forestry or energy (power, oil &amp; gas, pipeline) \u2013 commercial\/business related or operations management.<\/li>\n<li>Business leadership\/management or entrepreneurial business experience.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in both Portuguese and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-12 ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"section-content\">\n<div class=\"section-content--grey section-spaced section-content__center box--xs\">\n<div class=\"section-content__element ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"section-content__text\"><span class=\"ng-binding\">Application deadline:<\/span>30 April 2025<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section-content__element ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"section-content__text\"><span class=\"ng-binding\">Contract type:<\/span>Permanent<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section-content__element ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"section-content__text\"><span class=\"ng-binding\">Number of hours per week:<\/span>Full time<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Apply for this job: <a href=\"https:\/\/app.beehire.com\/invite\/iPkQXdnt_0k?form=false\">https:\/\/app.beehire.com\/invite\/iPkQXdnt_0k?form=false<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About this offer Responsibilities: Participate in and provide input on commercial negotiations with the Government of Mozambique and Project Partners.
