&#8211; Partnership Senior Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Application period 04-Apr-2025 to 20-Apr-2025<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Functional Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>In consultation with the Partnerships Advisor, the Partnership Officer supports project development and resource mobilization in Mozambique within UNOPS key focus and service areas through the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify funding opportunities related to governments, international\/national agencies, multilateral institutions, non-governmental organizations, foundations and the private sector.<\/li>\n<li>In conjunction with the country manager and project manager(s), develop expression of interests, concept notes and proposals for potential new projects and prepare budgets and costing for all new project proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Create new engagement(s) in the ERP system and put it through the internal approval process, with support and guidance of the Partnerships Development Office (PDO) in ESAMCO.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and design all communications materials, including factsheets, presentations, capacity statements, Mozambique positions, FAQs and drive advocacy, visibility and outreach initiatives with potential partners.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and participate in meetings with donors and partners and produce high quality meeting minutes and action oriented summaries.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain the engagement pipeline\/ projection tracking sheets, meeting records database and other tools.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct country wide research and analysis on donor and partners focus areas, funding cycles, processes and identify opportunities for Mozambique engagement and partnerships development.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Project Managers\/Country Manager\/ESAMCO by reviewing progress reports and other internal\/external communication as and when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and coordinate with the ESAMCO PDO team and participate in partnerships events and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Progress Controls.<\/li>\n<li>Update and develop advocacy materials and factsheets and other communication materials for stakeholder engagement as well as keep up-to-date UNINFO as required under the guidance and consultation with the communications focal point at ESAMCO.<\/li>\n<li>Build a network of key partners, keeping abreast of evolving social, economic and political trends.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Country Manager in his\/her engagements with potential partners.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain the Engagement Addition tracking\/forecasting sheets and provide data on the Business Acquisition pipeline.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and coordinate with relevant stakeholders and provide required inputs related to Mozambique when requested by ESAMCO.<\/li>\n<li>Perform necessary tasks as the lead developer for all new engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date repository of all donors, funding cycles and engagement modalities.<\/li>\n<li>Frequent travels to Pemba as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education\/Experience\/Language requirements:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Education<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree or equivalent preferably in economics, management, international affairs, political science, development studies or other related areas with 2 years of relevant work experience is required.<\/li>\n<li>A combination of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree with an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the education requirements outlined above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 2 years in programme, International development, partnerships or resource mobilization is required.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Stakeholder Management is desired.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Partner engagement is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Proposal and report writing is highly desired.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Proposal writing and acquisition of projects is highly desired.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Business development and Partner Management is desired.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with computer and office software packages and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Language Requirements<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full working knowledge of English is required.<\/li>\n<li>Full working knowledge of Portuguese is desired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply for this job: <a
