The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mechanical drafting, particularly in the context of heavy industrial environments. You will play a critical role in designing and drafting mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.<\/p>\n<p>By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to influence and drive the adoption of emerging technologies in the industry.<\/p>\n<p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Leadership <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Deliver \u201cWe all guarantee everyone goes home safe and well\u201d through creating a culture of care and accountability as an enabler to continuously learn and improve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all work is well designed and guaranteed to deliver safe outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be aware of risks associated with engineering governance and asset management and manage accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, i.e., Operations, Engineers and Maintainers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Mechanical Design &amp; Engineering: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Design and Drafting<\/b>: Perform design calculations (Finite element analysis), create detailed mechanical designs and 2D\/3D drawings for equipment and systems related to the aluminium smelting process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Collaboration<\/b>: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure designs meet operational needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Documentation<\/b>: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design projects, including specifications, manuals, and assembly instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Review and Revision<\/b>: Review existing designs and provide recommendations for improvements.
