{"id":18940,"date":"2025-03-25T13:07:55","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T13:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=18940"},"modified":"2025-03-25T13:07:55","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T13:07:55","slug":"vaga-junior-safety-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-junior-safety-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"VAGA \u2013 JUNIOR SAFETY OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The main purpose of the Safety Officer is toensure safe work procedures and the safety of workers while they are on duty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun\u00e7\u00f5es ou responsabilidades<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect: a) Hygiene facilities, b) Vehicles, c) PPE, d) First-aid equipment, e) Hazardous chemicals, f) Submit report to management, g) HSE meetings, h) Toolbox Talks, i) Investigations; Safety Management System;<\/li>\n<li>Do monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly, annual and bi-annual inspections;<\/li>\n<li>Submit file in system and report to management;<\/li>\n<li>Submit monthly report on safety inspection to Branch Manager and Director\/s;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and review system continuously;<\/li>\n<li>Submit prescribed forms;<\/li>\n<li>Get notification of accident and take person to doctor if necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Investigate the incident and report to management. Incidents and Accidents Investigated;<\/li>\n<li>Get notification of accident and take person to doctor if necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Investigate the incident and report to management;<\/li>\n<li>Keep statistics for safety system;<\/li>\n<li>Display statistics on notice board and keep board up to date;<\/li>\n<li>Discuss incident\/accident with all staff members \u2013 do toolbox talks and accident recalls;<\/li>\n<li>Do follow-up on cause of accident and develop preventative action.<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling of Safety Training;<\/li>\n<li>Arrange logistics to get staff to training and control exercise;<\/li>\n<li>File information on safety management system and keep updated;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure correct dispersion of trained staff in workforce. Health and Safety Meetings;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submit a report on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a) Health and safety information;<\/p>\n<p>b) Reports from safety representatives;<\/p>\n<p>c) Incidents\/accidents;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow up on all decisions made at these meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on all instructions, incidents and discussions during meetings;<\/li>\n<li>Inform management if instructions are not being carried out;<\/li>\n<li>Submit suggestions regarding safety to management and workers;<\/li>\n<li>Discuss and do follow-up on submitted suggestions.<\/li>\n<li>Safety Walk-abouts;<\/li>\n<li>Perform visual safety check in all sections and submit report to management;<\/li>\n<li>Have short safety talks with employees while on the walk-about;<\/li>\n<li>Perform loss control;<\/li>\n<li>Do follow-up on instructions given while on the walk-about and file in SAFETY system; Computer Programme Maintained;<\/li>\n<li>Submit reports on system;<\/li>\n<li>Modify forms for usage in working area;<\/li>\n<li>Implement new forms in company;<\/li>\n<li>Inform staff of new safety developments on the SAFETY notice board;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and control system for management.<\/li>\n<li>Security Reports Monitored;<\/li>\n<li>Receive reports and file in system;<\/li>\n<li>Report any hazards\/problems to management.
