Fluent in any local language(s) ( essential).<\/p>\n<p><b>Job description<\/b><\/p>\n<p>CTG overview<\/p>\n<p>CTG staff and support humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world, providing a rapid and cost-effective service for development and humanitarian missions.<\/p>\n<p>CTG recruits, deploys and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilize at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in very high pace.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>Overview of position<\/p>\n<p>The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the energy project implementation activities i.e., awareness raising on clean energy technologies &amp; related impacts &amp; also coordinate all the energy related activities in the resettlement sites. The incumbent will also support with village saving &amp; lending group training.<\/p>\n<p>Role objectives<\/p>\n<p>Community awareness &amp; education:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Educate households on clean energy access &amp; its benefits.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Raise awareness about Village Savings &amp; Lending models (VSLAs) as a tool for improving access to energy.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Highlight the health, environmental, educational &amp; economic impacts of clean energy.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Promote opportunities for productive use of energy in households &amp; small businesses.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide guidance on financial inclusion &amp; access to financing for energy solutions.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Encourage efficient use of energy resources to maximize benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coordination &amp; information management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Coordinate energy activities in resettlement sites in collaboration with community leaders, solar companies, saving &amp; lending groups.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Maintain records of all energy related activities &amp; compile reports using the energy information sheet.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Prepare detailed weekly reports on energy related activities &amp; progress.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage the energy information desk, logging visits &amp; inquiries.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Document &amp; report complaints following our clients Complaint &amp; Feedback Mechanism (CFM).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Perform any other duties as assigned by the project team to support the implementation of energy initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expected output:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Households are educated on clean energy access.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Households are educated on VSLA&#8217;s &amp; how they can be used as a model to improve clean energy access.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Households are educated on impacts of clean energy access i.e impacts on health, environment, education, livelihoods etc<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Household are educated on opportunities of clean energy access &amp; economic activities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Household have access to a reliable &amp; accountable CFM.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Household have access to information on the project &amp; activities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Households &amp; small businesses are educated on productive use of energy.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Households &amp; entrepreneurs are educated on financial inclusion &amp; access.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Households are educated on efficient use of energy resources.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Project activities are coordinated in the resettlement sites with stakeholders &amp; partners i.e community leadership, solar companies, clean cooking companies, saving &amp; lending groups etc. epblouJ Dmn9G0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0VSLA are established &amp; supported across the project implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project reporting<\/p>\n<p>Weekly reports on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0All energy related activities in the sites.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0All energy activities conducted.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0All the VSLA activities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0CFM report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, the candidate must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Record in the attendance book all the visits to the information desk &amp; purpose of the visit.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Record &amp; report on complaints as per the our clients CFM SOP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key competencies<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0High school certificate is required, a bachelor degree is desired.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Certificate in Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is desired.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0A driving license for motorcycle is desired.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a02 years experience in communicating &amp; working with a wide range of stakeholders &amp; communicating with communities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience in training of communities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience in the energy sector.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Prior &amp; relevant experience in central Mozambique preferably in Sofala province.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Must be fluent in Portuguese &amp; any local language.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Working knowledge of English is required.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Good communication, interpersonal &amp; organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Demonstrated gender awareness &amp; gender sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to work effectively &amp; harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures &amp; professional backgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility &amp; drive for results.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Digital skills (Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Team management<\/p>\n<p>This role has no team management responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Further information<\/p>\n<p>Qualified female candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.<\/p>\n<p>Disclaimer:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0At no stage of the recruitment process will CTG ask candidates for a fee.
