{"id":18849,"date":"2025-03-22T13:51:12","date_gmt":"2025-03-22T13:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/?p=18849"},"modified":"2025-03-22T13:51:12","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T13:51:12","slug":"vaga-senior-and-junior-specialists-in-human-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wizandroidmz.com\/emprego\/vaga-senior-and-junior-specialists-in-human-development\/","title":{"rendered":"Vaga &#8211; Senior and Junior Specialists in Human Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"tvm-operation__underline\"><strong>Senior and Junior Specialists in Human Development<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>NTU is searching for consultants (short and long-term) for an upcoming EU tender in Sub-Saharan Africa, <em>Technical support (including on \u2018evaluations\u2019) to manage the Support Measures (Technical Assistance Component) for the Multiannual Indicative Programme. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Location: Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe (Remote\/Field-Based)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: <\/strong>01\/09\/2025 \u2013 30\/09\/2029<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u261d\ufe0f <\/em><strong>Social Protection &amp; Human Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthen national <strong>social protection policies<\/strong> and frameworks, ensuring they are <strong>comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Support the <strong>design and implementation<\/strong> of contributory and non-contributory <strong>social protection schemes<\/strong> in collaboration with national governments and regional institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Promote <strong>shock-responsive and gender-transformative<\/strong> social protection strategies, with a focus on vulnerable groups (women, migrants, persons with disabilities).<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing sustainable <strong>domestic and external resource mobilization<\/strong> (DRM) strategies for long-term financing of social protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u261d\ufe0f <\/em><strong>Higher Education &amp; Skills Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance access to <strong>higher education and skills training<\/strong> by supporting universities, technical institutions, and student mobility programs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate partnerships between <strong>Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)<\/strong> in Africa and European research\/education networks.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of <strong>inclusive education policies<\/strong>, ensuring equal opportunities for students, especially women and persons with disabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen <strong>capacity-building initiatives<\/strong> for universities and national agencies to improve the relevance and quality of higher education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u261d\ufe0f <\/em><strong>Regional Cooperation &amp; Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with <strong>African Union institutions, regional economic communities (RECs), and international stakeholders<\/strong> to drive policy coherence and coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to <strong>policy analysis, regulatory framework development, and institutional capacity-building<\/strong> in social protection and education sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Support EU Delegations and national governments in enhancing <strong>evidence-based policymaking<\/strong> through research, data collection, and impact assessments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"tvm-operation__underline\"><strong>Senior Specialists:<\/strong><\/span> Minimum <strong>12-15 years of experience<\/strong> in social protection, human development, higher education, policy analysis, capacity building, program implementation, evaluation, research, or related sectors.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tvm-operation__underline\"><strong>Junior Specialists:<\/strong><\/span> Minimum <strong>5 -7 years of experience<\/strong> in social protection, human development, higher education, policy analysis, capacity building, program implementation, evaluation, research, or related sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of <strong>EU and AU policies<\/strong> on <strong>social protection, education, and sustainable development<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with <strong>government institutions, international organizations (ILO, UN, AfDB, EU), and civil society<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in <strong>project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy advisory roles<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in <strong>English and\/or French<\/strong>; knowledge of other languages spoken in Sub-Saharan Africa is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply and upload your CV via LinkedIn or sent to <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@ntu.eu\">recruitment@ntu.eu<\/a>.
