Heading is recruiting for its client, an oil and gas company, an\u00a0Fisheries Livelihood Supervisor\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0(M\/F) to be based in Cabo Delgado.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– Prepare new and update existing SOWs for contracting of Implementation Partners (IP) for the various agriculture livelihood programs committed under the Resettlement Plan<\/p>\n

– Lead the coaching, upskilling and mentoring of the field officers, including implementation partners<\/p>\n

– Review and provide inputs to the implementation partners\u2019 execution strategies, plans and procedures and monitor how successfully they are being executed<\/p>\n

– Assess agriculture livelihood implementation partners\u2019 performance and how to implement their work scope and schedule most effectively<\/p>\n

– Be responsible of agricultural livelihood restoration programs, the tree nursery, ceding of replacement land, land preparation and issuance of security of tenure documents<\/p>\n

– Identify all eligible households that may participate in agriculture livelihood restoration benefits and utilize tracking tools to ensure tracking of the delivery of commitments under the household agreement and RAP<\/p>\n

– Conduct random field visits to monitor agriculture livelihoods program implementation<\/p>\n

– Participate in meetings with Government, communities and households, as required<\/p>\n

The post holder is responsible for ensuring the field coordination and delivery of agricultural\u00a0programs to benefit resettlement-affected communities\u2019 livelihoods as well as represent the Project in field in all matters related to the replacement agricultural land and livelihoods program<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

– University degree in relevant area, including rural development, agronomy, agricultural economics<\/p>\n

– Minimum of five (5) years of experience in engaging communities and implementation of fisheries livelihood programs<\/p>\n

– Knowledgeable about the land access and resettlement processes that leads to displacement and livelihood re-establishment and development program delivery<\/p>\n

– Experience in managing schedule and budgets, large teams and performance\u00a0monitoring and evaluation<\/p>\n

– Negotiation and conflict management skills<\/p>\n

– Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented with competence in\u00a0report writing<\/p>\n

– Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) required<\/p>\n

– Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain good relations with stakeholders including local communities, government authorities, implementation partners and CSOs\/NGOs<\/p>\n
