ABOUT THE ROLE:<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This role is a permanent full-time position.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reporting to the Automation Superintendent, your responsibilities, will be as follows:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Stimulate\u00a0an environment where willing Safe Behavioural Observations are\u00a0conducted;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Assist\u00a0with the mitigation of equipment risks creating an environment of awareness to risks and threats for proactive identification and \/ or\u00a0mitigation;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Initiate\u00a0actions to optimize automation effectiveness and resource allocation during control and\u00a0measurement;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Guidance and governance of Instrumentation projects, for specific business units through the design, implementation and monitoring of C&I systems strategies, procedures, standards and control\u00a0philosophies;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Participate\u00a0in operational systems and processes to reduce \/ eliminate fatalities, serious disabling injuries and lost time\u00a0injuries;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Monitor\u00a0the application of safe operation procedures and guide and coach staff on best\u00a0practices;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Assist\u00a0in implementation of outstanding safety\u00a0actions;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Coordinate\u00a0the implementation processes with adequate measuring instruments to achieve automation objectives, maximize resource utilization, optimize processes and reduce data\u00a0errors;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Assist\u00a0in Implementation of advanced and expert control systems and measurements to effectively manage and optimize process control &\u00a0instrumentation;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Participate\u00a0in the configuration, customization and integration of process control & instrumentation systems and processes aligned business requirements and Engineering\u00a0Strategy;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Ensure\u00a0the correct Implementation of systems and processes to enhance data integrity throughout the various measuring points within the automation\u00a0processes;<\/div>\n
\u2022\u00a0Participate\u00a0in the facilitation and agreement of SLA’s with the key stakeholders and enrol team members in the agreement\u00a0process.<\/div>\n

ABOUT YOU:<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You\u00a0<\/b>will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Minimum\u00a0experience of 3 to 5 years in related areas, have managed small projects, show oral\/written proficiency in the English language.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications for this role are:<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n
