Environmental Lead – Major LNG Construction Project (Mozambique)
📍 Location: Maputo-based, supporting Afungi site operations
📅 Start Date: August 2025

We are looking for a highly experienced Environmental Lead to support a major LNG construction project in Mozambique. This is a senior site-based role with oversight of environmental management, permitting, and regulatory compliance in alignment with international standards and lender (IFC) requirements.

✅ Candidate Profile:
– University degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline.
– Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental roles, ideally within large-scale oil & gas or industrial construction projects.
– Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and experience working on internationally funded projects.
– Familiarity with Mozambique’s environmental regulatory framework is an advantage.
– Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal). Portuguese or – French language skills are a plus.
– Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
