Our client, a trailblazer in delivering affordable satellite internet across Africa, seeks a dynamic Business Manager to lead their Mozambique operations. This role is pivotal in driving growth, optimising performance, and shaping the digital future of underserved communities through strategic initiatives and cross-functional leadership.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations at the Mozambique headquarters and distribution centre.
Oversee retail, agent, and partner performance nationwide, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Execute expansion initiatives: retail growth, hotspot deployments, and government partnerships.
Manage logistics, warehousing, and inventory of satellite internet kits (Starlink).
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of operations and sales professionals.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and financial discipline (budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
Achieve KPIs: >95% on-time delivery, 350+ active retailers, <10% budget variance.

Education & Experience:
Degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in telecoms, tech, distribution, or high-growth sectors.
Proven track record in operational management and scaling startups or fast-paced environments.
Skills & Competencies:
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and build processes from the ground up.
Fluent in Portuguese and English (verbal/written).
High emotional intelligence and ability to motivate teams.
Proficiency in financial tools and logistics software.
